On all my Reason files the channel mute keys are bound to the keys as follows, so that the top row of keys on my keyboard are mapped to channels 1-11, and the "]" key to channel 12. This allows you to easily mute/unmute channels via the keyboard. Keys are defined as follows: ` channel 1 1 channel 2 ... 0 channel 11 - channel 12 = channel 13 ] channel 14 AutoKeysAndDrums This is intended to play autokeyboard loops with a variety of drum sounds that sound good with the keyboards. It is intended that you mute/unmute various drum/keyboard sounds to alter the sound as it plays. You can push the Play button on the Matrix associated with the C, G, E, and D keyboards and then you can play an attached keyboard with those keyboards. Note the E and D keyboards are probably the ones that sound best for playing, while the C and G keyboards are a bit too spacey. Though you can also play around with the knobs in the SubTractors to change the keyboard sounds. Channels 5-14 on the mixers are drums LiveKeysAndDrums This has two nice live keyboard sounds and a drum track that can be muted if you like. You can play around with the knobs in the Malstrom or Subtractor if you like. LiveWithAELoops This has five nice live keyboard sounds. You can play around with the knobs in the Malstrom or Subtractor if you like. newdrum This has 2 Malstrom keyboards and 1 SubTractor keyboards. Malstrom1 is autoplay spacey sound while SubTractor1 and Malstrom1 are intended for live playing. You can play around with the knobs in the Malstrom or Subtractor if you like. This has 9 drum patterns that sound good together. You can mute/unmute various combinations to make the drums sound different as it plays. DrumMachine, RockDrums, and SimpleDrumMachine These are intended to be 14 various drum patterns that sound good together except for SimpleDrumMachine which has 4 drum patterns.
